Jaclynn is wonderful! She is one of the sweetest and most attentive hair/makeup artists I have ever met. Prior to my trial she looked at all of my inspiration photos and listened to all of my ideas. Jaclynn was extra accommodating to my makeup allergies and concerns. I wanted my makeup to feel light and natural. She applied my makeup little by little letting me check what I liked and disliked every step of the way. She took so much extra time just to make sure I was happy and comfortable. It looked beautiful and natural. It was my first experience with airbrush makeup and I loved it! Light, natural and it lasted.My hair was amazing! She carefully pinned soft and delicate curls into an updo. After she finished she made sure I was happy with every little curl and detail. She is sooo patient! My usually unruly hair held the curls perfectly. I could not have been happier. Sweet, patient and VERY talented. Jaclynn and her team are wonderful! A great choice!

My best friend had recently gotten married in Middletown, Rhode Island. I was the Maid of Honor in her wedding. When she first came to me about Jaclynn Kate Hair & Makeup and asked what I thought about not going to a salon... I said lets try it. We were first introduced actually through a photo shoot where the bride got her hair and makeup done...Everything came out beautiful then!! So why not!!! The wedding was on a Sunday and everything went as planned! Jaclynn and her team showed up promptly at 9am! They had their work cut out for them with seven girls to do hair and makeup. Airbrushed makeup was offered, I didn't part take, I just did traditional. However it was just perfect! I was asked what I liked and Jaclynn's team member knew exactly the direction to go! I never wear tons of makeup but everything was light and beautiful. All three girls were so nice and energetic and so much fun!! I was the last to get my hair done. Mainly because my hair is so fine and there just isn't much there and it always seems to fall out anyway. But I went for an up-do, I really wanted to do this rose inspired up-do but with the lack of hair and tons of layers my dream was not a reality. Although I wasn't able to get that specific up-do the girls still knew exactly what to do. My hair turned out so beautiful I was amazed and it passed the test of staying up the entire night!! That is a first for this gal! I was so impressed!!! In all the entire experience was just amazing!! I can say for when or if I get married I know who to call!! Thank you so much!!!

As a Bride I have to say one of my favorite parts was when my hair dresser showed up! Jaclynn Kate Hair is great! They give you 100% in everything they do. They are so friendly. With such a big wedding party and all the different types of people they certainly were able to keep everyone satisfied and happy, especially me as the Bride! I was very impressed with Jaclynn all around from start to finish she was very attentive and polite a sweetheart with much integrity. I refer her highly to many of my friends and family. As any bride or bride-to-be knows, the morning of the wedding is stressful enough. The less you have to worry about, the better! Thankfully, I was lucky enough to have had Jaclynn there to work her magic. She was on time (possibly early), dressed professionally, and had my makeup completed without me having to even think about it. I am not a person who normally wears makeup and would have gone crazy trying to handle it myself. jaclynn is my hairdresser, she started cutting my hair a year ago however i had never had her do anything other than a haircut (which always comes out fantastic)..so after just having a baby us women know how it is, the first time you get a chance to go somewhere where you have to look nice (a wedding in my case), you want to look like you DIDNT just have a baby. Sooooo, having said that i wanted to look my best at my friend lils wedding (not like i had been up all night feeding a newborn). That where jackie came in. My appointment was fantastic. i wanted to do something different and i trust jackie so much that i actually told her to give me bangs, REAL bangs which came out so fantastic i kept them and still have them. anyways, i have very long hair so i told her i wasnted it in a ponytail with a "poof" if you will, in the back so it added volume and away she went, teasing and poofing and pinning and curling my long locks. the end result was beautiful. with my new found love for my bangs that she cut and my poofed up pony tail i was ready to go, post baby body and all, feeling better than i had about my appearance in weeks. thank you jackie for being the best hair sylist and listening to what you client want, and also steering us in the right direction for hair and makeup

I was planning my Newport wedding from TX. Jaclynn was responsive, informative and helpful throughout the entire process. We worked through email and pictures and she was at my hotel door @ 5:59 am(looking great) for my day wedding. Jaclynn is talented, calming to be around and an absolute sweet heart. I would not have wanted anyone else to make me or my ladies look our very best on my wedding day!

I had Jaclynn do my hair and make up for my wedding. She also did my mothers and my bridal parties hair and makeup. She and her staff did an amazing job! I got married in Newport, RI and was staying over their night before so, it was important for me to find a company that would be reasonable in price, good at what they do and would travel to my location and Jaclynn Kate's company had it all. When Jaclynn and I started talking about possibly using her she was professional from day one. I had a specific vision on how I wanted to look on my big day and I went to her for the trial with no pictures just this vision- and she captured it on the first try! The day of my wedding her staff showed up a few minutes early (which is always a plus for me), dressed and acted professional, and made each and everyone of us feel as amazing as we looked!! we couldn't have chosen a better hair and makeup team!!!!!! She was super flexible and was able to adapt to all the curve balls I threw her way. Since I was planning from Pennsylvania and having my wedding in Rhode Island I was always emailing her with small details and dates and times. She was always wonderful. Most importantly she made me feel very comfortable and my whole wedding party looked flawless, which isn't always easy on children! I am very particular and she was able to adapt to make everyone look their best.
